Birthday Part 2

We had Maddie's cake today- Harry Potter per her choice. I would also like to note here, that this is not her first Harry Potter cake- had one for her 7th birthday. Her love of these books has gone on a lot of years. Its lasted so long because her mom wouldn't let her read the series as quickly as she wanted. But she is now officially a big girl, and I am letting her read the 7th of the books. Alyssa says that someone looses an ear in the third chapter, but I am looking past that and hoping for a good overall experience for her reading of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows- do you think the title indicates some potential issues?

The girls chose their Halloween costumes today- I am sworn to secrecy (there is a hint of Ellie's costume in the above picture- but you will get nothing else out of me!)

Winding down the weekend, and headed to a new week.....I am hoping for an uneventful one!

Mom- this one is for you and the Ladies of the Yellow Shirts.

  1. Hi! My name is Kris Tessier and my daughter Sara met Ellie this summer during tennis lessons in Welland. Sara talks about Ellie all the time. It is so nice how children become fast friends so easily. Sara wrote Ellie a letter and mailed it on Sept. 9th. Sara hopes that Ellie has received her letter. Sara hopes that Ellie wants to write letters back and forth. Let me know if not. Sara wants to send pictures of herself through e-mail too. Can we have an
    e-mail address to do this?

A couple of days ago, Aunt Michelle saw us at tennis lessons and told us to check out this blog site. Sara and I truly loved seeing all the pictures of Ellie and her family. Happy Birthday Maddie.

    Thinking about al lof you,

Your Welland friends, Sara & Kris Tessier
