I am starting a new tradition.Every December I am going to document the everyday stuff that goes on around here from December 1st to December 24th. It'll be a different kind of scrapbook that is about the ordinary not the events.
Then of course I'll end it with A LOT of photos for the 25th.... that'll be the event documenting part of December :)
I'll maybe repost it in its entirety at the end of December in sequence for you.
Today was normal day- the only difference is that Maddy's book order came in from scholastic. Really some happy times there. She is already on the second book in the series that she got today..... good thing there are five books to the story.
Great news today- got an email that Coco will be returning to us over Christmas. For those of you who don't remember Coco, she is an exchange swimmer from Japan that came last Christmas. Apparently she stated strongly she wouldn't be coming this year unless she could stay with us. Makes me happy that we left such an impression especially considering the communication issues that come about when the child doesn't speak English and we don't speak Japanese!
We are looking forward to having her back- Ellie already wrote her arrival date on the calendar, and I will admit that we already started Christmas shopping for her a few weeks ago, just in case she could make it :)
