Its kinda like when you don't go work-out for awhile and then when you finally get back to the gym you feel like you are gonna die. Going back to work today was a little like that- except there were no treadmills involved.
We all survived it- once again, Ellie better than the rest of us. Maddie is still mopey but I will give her credit- made it through without a major fit. She is still teary tonight at the thought of having to go back again tomorrow...... kinda know how she feels....
We went across island to go see the Thorntons after school. Really going to miss them being here, the kids have loved it. They only have one week left before they head back to California.

Keep those beachy and palm tree pictures coming...Tell Maddie to enjoy cause it is 14 degrees here with almost 10 1nches of snow and still coming...Too cold to walk Harley and every time he has to go out for a quick pee he looks at me so very sadly and then makes a quick dash.
ReplyDeleteWe were all prepared for a visit yesterday with Micki, kids and Sheldon but combination of bad driving weather and Micki's sore throat....
Jodi and Scott visited Saturday ...The Grands really really enjoyed. Nice visit to catch up on their happenings,,,They are off for a short trip to palm trees and sand and scuba.
And so lights and decorations come down after a most quiet Christmas and New Year and we will see what next year brings.
