Just back from a night time viewing of the science fair. LOTS of entries. The entire gym filled with projects. This picture above is of Maddy standing in one of about 8 rows. A lot of volcanoes, eggs that glide into jars, petri dishes with mold, and coke cans that don't float.
A big congratulations to Maddy who came in 4th out of about 80 5th graders.

Also so proud of Ellie. Her project was very well thought out and extremely organized. When she found out she hadn't placed, she wanted to come home and start looking up topics for the science fair next year.
One more day of school for the girls and then they are officially on spring break- so is Kevin for that matter, he will be the one home next week with Maddy and Ellie. Can't say I'm not jealous.
I have a kind of open house tomorrow at my school to try and recruit new nursing students for next year. My senior nurses are in charge of it..... excited to see how it goes. The worse that can happen is that I don't get a lot of sign ups for next year. If I get another contract to teach this program next year......smaller classes really wouldn't be hard to take :)
