it suddenly struck me....

.... no tears!

Madison traditionally has tears in the evenings and most mornings before school- to the point of begging to be home-schooled. All last year she was far less than excited to go to school.

This school year there was tears on the first day- totally nerves and really understandable. But today after I had dropped the girls off school I was driving to work, and it hit me...... she has had three days of school and not a single complaint or worry of going into class each morning. No crying at bedtime each night.

Wow! Don't know if this is a big-girl thing, or if this is a middle-schooler thing....... don't really care, I am just grateful for a happy girl :)
