Two happy girls yesterday-
But tonight- a different story.
Aunty Jodi is leaving tomorrow and we are really feeling it- funny how a little isolation (being on the other side of the world) can make a visit that much more important. Just so you can compare, packages in the mail are cause for major celebration- so you can kinda see how Jodi visiting has been a major event. This photo is a funny "OOG" photo:
Its kinda hard to see, but it is Jodi and Ellie getting out of the car last night to chase the toads off the driveway so that I can pull the car in. Not an unusual event with us- nothing worse than squishing a toad.

Today, had Jodi in one of my classes to talk about her career and Haiti. It went so well, she did a great job and they LOVED having her in there.
Tonight we headed to the Chamorro village before swim team.
Unfortunately we didn't get to do much more than get this photo of the girls with a caribou. Right after we got there, we found out they were closing for the night due to a car having run into the village causing major trauma. So that was that..... we moved on.....

Ruby Tuesdays was a close second for our choice activity for tonight.
Ellie had just enough time at the village before it closed to buy a sarong for her Chamorro dance class.
And a quick photo of Maddy and Daddy doing some math homework before bed...... I really love that the math responsibility has been taken over.... one less thing...
Can't even begin to say how much we will be missing Jodi- I will be doing a lot of consoling, especially for Maddy.... though Ellie isn't far behind on the "sadness" scale.
We love you Jodi, thanks SO much for going out of your way to be here for your nieces. Can't tell you how much we appreciate you.
