Had the girls physicals today at the Dr- needed to get an updated school physical for their potential next school.
Ellie had some blood drawn- really just so impressed with that girl. Never a flinch, watching the whole thing. So proud!
Handy thing with the Dr visit was- Maddy started with an ear infection two days ago so we had that looked at... two birds one stone! Though I doubt Maddy would see it as positive, the ear is really hurting her. Not sure if its a negative thing or not- yes she is in pain, but she does get to miss swimming for a bunch of days..... in all seriousness she cried when the Dr. said she would have to miss out on practices :)
So we were off to practice tonight for just Ellie- I had to miss Bible study due to Maddy's ear..... and the awkwardness of being down to one car. Shipped the minivan this week so that it will be waiting for Kevin when he gets to his parents house in August. So I am no longer a minivan Mamma- got a cool new ride! So does Kevin though.... riding his bike back and forth to work.....
Maddy and I ran some errands during Ellie's swim practice- to the sports store, to the vet for some doggy-meds.
Her one happiness today was one of our errands was in a bookstore :)
... a little piece of heaven for her. She didn't buy any books, but just being there makes her happy. Had a bit of sadness last Friday night- she dropped her Kindle accidentally (SO many tears with this), and the screen went bonkers. Gotta love Amazon though- called them to ask about it, and without hesitation they sent a new one- which arrived today! NEVER in Guam mailing history would I have imagined it would get here so fast.... minor miracle!
